What makes an in company English course successful?

Nowadays, the supply and demand of in-company language training has increased and at this point certain aspects might be set aside. Not everything works for everyone. Thus, the difference of in-company language training is on lesson planning.

Lesson planning is an instrument by which teachers manage the teaching practice articulating the set of contents, educational strategies, materials, resources and students needs to arrange the activities performed in class. The truth is that lesson planning is not something new and should exist in every training course but many times it is not taken into account or is overlooked.

We believe that lesson planning is an essential aspect, so we take it into consideration in every moment of the course. We know that what may work for a group of students may not work for another whether it be because they have different ages, different educational needs, among other things. These circumstances may also vary along the course so the pedagogic practice should be adjusted in those cases on the way so that the outcomes could be met.  

Other important aspect of planning is assessment. We take a placement test at the beginning of the course to gauge the students' levels. There are also the formative test, which takes place during the course both to assess the students' progress and to make the necessary changes, and the summative test, which is taken at the end of the course to assess the results.

Finally, choosing the teacher giving the course. The teacher must take into account these aspects and manage them. Thus, we focus on professionalism of our teachers.
